Sunday was a day where Mazda Club Singapore had a really huge and successful meetup. It was held at Marina Square and Mazda owners from all over Singapore showed up. Sufficed to say, it was a huge success with a final count of over 130 cars.
Some were familiar faces and others were new. However, everyone got to mingle and talked mostly about cars, our jobs, families etc. There were some missing faces though, most prominently, Ah Hawk, XuBeiBei and Cuddlezzz were noticably absent.
It was an afternoon of showing off each car's latest mods, checking out ICE systems and just plain, good 'ole group photos. HotStuff magazine finally showed up to include this meetup in their forthcoming magazine. It was gracious of them but I'm really curious as to whether or not each model of Mazda will get it's spot in the press.
It was rather humid which led to me sweating profusely and I conveniently forgot to bring my cameras along knowing that someone or other from the club will be taking some photos as well.
Anyway, I met a few people, including darkfairie and femi. Femi's got this really lovable and adorable quality about her that's quite irresistable. DarkFairie on the other hand, had this fierce look which sorta said "don't mess with me" hahaha...I hope she never gets to read this :P
Yesterday was event shoot @ Neptune. Fortunately, they didn't allow photography during the caberet show which gave me time to actually sit back n relax a little. Robert (the entertainer/magician/comedien) must've been pretty annoyed at me for firing the flash directly at him (I usually either bounce of stofen the flash) because the stage was rather large and dark.
Spent a good hour kneeling/squatting while taking photos for the awards and lucky draw. It's a miracle that I can still walk today.
