Whiners...

Okay...I've read quite a few blogs and found that many a time, the authors are complaining or whining about their lives and how miserable they are etc etc... It's interesting cause I suppose that could be the best way to generate self pity. It's most effective especially for women.

The usual "I hate my life", "I hate my job", "I hate not having enough money" entries. If you read enough of these, you'd think that it's the same person writing all these entries. C'mon! Obviously we're too pampered and spoiled and selfish. Everyone's concerned about their own little problems, their own little world. I guess the fault lies partially in the lack of social skills that people are getting from being on the internet all the time.

The might have "netiquette" but lack social etiquette. Oh well.

Last night was an event for UE. It started late so I ended leaving late as well. Maritus Mandarin definitely has one of the lamer carparks...it's 1) Narrow, 2) Expensive (Parking there from 5.30pm to about 12.30am was $7.00) and 3) Difficult to get out of.

I must take my hat off to the CEO of UE. They do give back to the community by donating to Metta School and MINDS. They also had some kids from both organizations perform. The MINDS kids were most impressive. All of them suffers from some form of intellectual disability or other. Yet, they were always smiling, happy to perform and ever so excited.

Oh and by the way, for those out there who are whining about their pathetic lives etc, there are many people worse off.
