This is what happens when people tailgate or stop concentrating for a minute while on the expressway...
I was the first car and the second car was an 8th Gen civic (FD) 2.0. He managed to stop in time as well but was rather close to me. The third car, which was a Comfort Taxi (I've been hit by cabs before...so it's not surprising that a taxi was either involved or the cause of it somewhere along the line) however was obviously tailgating and not paying attention...
After about half a second from slowing down to a stop, the bang started followed by another while my car was jerked forwards. At first, the damage didn't seem more than minor bumper-bumper but upon closer inspection, it looked more apprarent that there was internal structural damage. Well, the C&C guys will know what to do :P.
So much for a nice peaceful morning...
