Strange Days...

I got a call at 10:44am this morning on my mobile phone with "Unknown" listed in the caller ID.

This woman starts spouting something in mandarin which if you know me, I have little or no ability to speak.

Anyway, I was busy driving and trying to overtake a truck but I digress. Needless to say, after a full 40 seconds of gibberish, I managed to retort with a "I can't speak chinese". Needless to say, I believe that it was an overseas call since local calls would have "Number Withheld" or just "Withheld" on the caller ID if it was a private number.

The girl was rather disappointed and managed an "Oh...goodbye" and hung up.

I forgot about the call until a friend of mine who lives in KL dropped me this URL on my MSN Messenger..

That got me thinking...God I'm glad I didn't and couldn't understand what the heck she was talking about.

Talk about ironic coincidence that I got the call this morning and the message this afternoon...

My vocal talents are once again used for the BOTEF Chant. Listen out for it...you might actually hear me among the 12 or so voices that have been digitally enhanced.

I'm gonna meet KXXZ later. Just wanna see what she's up to actually. Nothing more than that. Perhaps chat a little about the old times...old school days heh. It's nice to be able to have a second opinion on things that are going on in life don't you think?
